Jaden Bailey

CRG Associate,
Sports & Society Program at the Aspen Institute

Jaden Bailey is a CRG Associate with the Sports & Society Program at the Aspen Institute, where he supports efforts to empower our nation’s next generation of leaders, strengthen pathways to opportunity, and utilize the power of sport to make the world a more equitable place for all.

Prior to joining Aspen, Jaden served as a Student-Athlete Development Specialist and John McLendon Leadership Fellow at Indiana University Athletics. In this role, he designed and implemented leadership and career development initiatives, cultivated partnerships with corporate and community stakeholders, and supported student-athletes as they prepared for life beyond sport. While at Indiana, Jaden was able to design new programs that helped student-athletes immerse themselves and serve the Bloomington community, build strategic partnerships with community partners and employers, develop professional readiness initiatives aimed at expanding access and opportunity for young people, and support the recruiting efforts and leadership development of the 2026 CFP National Champions.

Jaden’s professional experience spans athletics, education, and business. He has held roles in coaching and teaching at the high school level, learned the intricacies of student-athlete development and recruiting with Notre Dame Football, and served as a bridge between corporate America and the student-athletes at Indiana University. These experiences have shaped a cross-sector perspective that integrates leadership development, systems thinking, and a commitment to equitable access.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Jaden earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied across premedical sciences and business administration with a minor in history.  Shaped by his experience navigating economic hardship and housing instability during his youth, Jaden is committed to expanding access and opportunity for underserved and overlooked populations. He is particularly focused on leveraging the power of sport to foster belonging, uplift communities, and empower young people to be leaders within their communities.

Outside of work, Jaden enjoys cooking family recipes passed down from his Nonna, exploring authentic international cuisines, and searching for the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in DC. A lifelong football fan, Jaden stays connected to the game he loves by coaching youth football and volunteering with the DC Divas, a professional women’s tackle football team, supporting storytelling, communications, and athlete visibility.
